We are pleased to announce that the award-winning firm of Martinez + Johnson Architecture has joined OTJ as our newest studio. Under the continued leadership of Gary F. Martinez, FAIA, this studio will specialize in the design of cultural and performing arts centers as well as institutional and commercial office structures.
OTJ and Martinez + Johnson Architecture share a long collaborative history rooted in a common commitment to design excellence. This merger complements and broadens the services we offer clients by fully integrating architecture and interior architecture. Lance Jaccard, OTJ Managing Partner, notes, “We are now poised to deliver integrated commercial building and interior projects, while maintaining the studio structure and hands-on partner leadership, which have long been the hallmarks of our success.”
At OTJ, Gary’s team includes many of the accomplished architects and interior design professionals he worked with at Martinez + Johnson and who helped him successfully deliver projects such as the Cincinnati Music Hall, the Boston Opera House, and the Plaza Theatre Performing Arts Center in El Paso, TX. The studio will continue its work on a new 10-story trophy office building at 2100 L Street, the National Center for Latino Culture and Performing Arts project in San Antonio, TX as well as the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Library.
We invite you to explore the Martinez + Johnson portfolio to learn more about our newest studio’s talent and expertise. We look forward to this new chapter in OTJ’s growth as we continue to advance our clients’ success through the physical realization of their human, operational, and business objectives.
