OTJ Architects is pleased to announce the opening of a satellite office in Charlotte, N.C. This next step in the firm’s strategic expansion allows OTJ to broaden its geographic footprint while serving as a point of entry into the southeastern market.
CEO Lance Jaccard, AIA, IIDA, LEED AP, remarks: “Charlotte is one of the nation’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. The city’s roster of financial institutions and Fortune 500 companies makes it the perfect springboard from which to continue serving existing clients with a local presence while also furthering our reach into the region’s other, often underserved, business hubs.” As with the opening of OTJ’s four other office locations, the launch of this satellite follows immediate demand from current clients for an expanded business and design partnership.
In keeping with a philosophy of entrepreneurship and fiscal responsibility to both clients and staff, OTJ has grown from one to six office locations, has built revenue from $14M to a projected $25M, and has increased staff count to over 170 designers and architects since 2016. Adds Chief Growth Officer Laura Kennington, LEED AP: “Even in the face of new economic realities, we are thrilled to deepen existing client relationships in one of the nation’s most dynamic real estate markets while providing sustainable employment opportunities for our staff.”
