OTJ Architects Expands with Addition of New Landlord Services Focused Studio

OTJ Architects is expanding with the creation of a new studio, headed by Director Amy Carter, IIDA, LEED AP.  This new studio’s practice will be focused primarily on the delivery of landlord projects, including commercial building repositioning and tenant build-outs.  A former founding partner of Esoarc Studio, Amy brings nearly 25 years of commercial interior design experience on projects spanning private, nonprofit, and government sectors. Her clients include Cushman & Wakefield, Stout & Teague, Blake Real Estate, Monday Properties, Duke Realty, and HHS/OIG among others. She brings with her a dedicated staff to the new studio. Among Amy’s most recently completed projects are headquarters for CTIA and American Diabetes Association.

Lance Jaccard, OTJ Managing Partner, notes, “The addition of Amy and her team both complements and broadens the services we can offer clients in Washington, New York, and nationwide while maintaining the studio structure and hands-on partner leadership, which have long been the hallmarks of our success.”

Adds Amy, “OTJ’s architects and designers share our passion for high-efficiency commercial environments. Bringing our groups together creates an unparalleled opportunity to build upon an existing synergy and enhance our practices.”

Within the past year, OTJ Architects has completed Washington Metropolitan area projects for such clients as Yelp, Adobe, Sands Capital Management, Darden School of Business, The Aspen Institute, The Foundry, and Alarm.com. In New York, OTJ is designing projects for Cultural Vistas, FHI 360, and Brookfield Partners.
