Employee Spotlight: Kaan Dilber

Kaan Dilber is an Associate and Senior Project Manager who enjoys being able to increase the built environments’ positive impact on people.  Over the course of his career, Kaan has worked on a range of projects including The Nature Conservancy Worldwide Headquarters and United Way Worldwide Headquarters.  A LEED and WELL Accredited Professional, Kaan’s expertise and passion are firmly focused on enhancing health and wellbeing in a client’s built environment.

What is a fun fact about yourself?

Before moving to the States, I was a year away from getting my PhD Degree

What did you want to do when you were a kid?

Like every child dreams, I wanted to be an astronaut

What made you decide you wanted to be an architect?

Finding out there isn’t any space program in Turkey

What is your favorite building and why?

Habitat 67 – It’s a perfect example of being creative and thinking outside the box

Where were you going the first time you flew in a plane?

World Expo 2000 in Germany

If you could live in any country other than the U.S., where would it be and why?

Japan – Combination of Fascinating Culture, Cool Architecture and Great Food

What is your absolute favorite sweet treat?

Very Dark Chocolate!
