Christine Garrity, IIDA, LEED AP, Returns to OTJ Architects as Partner

OTJ Architects is pleased to announce that noted Washington, D.C. metropolitan area interior designer Christine (Christy) Garrity, IIDA, LEED AP, has joined the practice as Partner and Senior Director.  Prior to this role, Christy served as Associate Principal and Vice President for architecture and planning firm Davis Carter Scott (DCS) where she led the group’s commercial interiors division. Christy is recognized for her ability to leverage strategic planning, branding, and workplace standards in the development of design solutions that unify and consistently represent her client’s distinct corporate identity even across multiple national locations.

Christy began her interior design career at OTJ over twenty years ago, at a time when its staff numbered less than a dozen individuals.  Her return underscores the industry wide recognition of the firm as an established design leader and strategic business partner to many of the region’s most notable public and private organizations. Christy’s project experience includes the Arlington, VA, and Austin, TX, offices of Cvent, totaling over 100,000 SF, the 300,000 SF renovation of Finnegan’s Washington, D.C., offices, the 180,000 SF Baltimore, MD, headquarters of Venable LLP, as well as workplaces for leading professional services firm CohnReznick, LLP, in cities such as Atlanta, GA, Boston, MA, Charlotte, NC, Los Angeles, CA, and Sacramento, CA, to name a few. Christy is a graduate of Virginia Tech where she received a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design.
