Strayer University came to OTJ looking to consolidate three offices into one main headquarters building.
OTJ developed a detailed program that outlined the requirements for Strayer’s new space such as quantity and sizes of offices, workstations, and support functions. The space plans include classrooms, training rooms, conference rooms, administrative space, and pantries designed to enhance collaboration among team members. A training facility was designed to serve as one large classroom or be transformed into several small classes with movable partitions, and adjustable office furniture creates diversity while maintaining comfort. In addition, sections of the building with more intensive office space required greater acoustical privacy, which meant designing for more people while using less space.
