Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board (MSRB) desired a new office design that allowed for more versatility and also enabled greater collaboration opportunities in both formal and informal settings. When entering reception, guests are invited to sit in four seating groups, each with wood-backed upholstered chairs and a wood coffee table. The expandable reception area serves multiple purposes, including break-out space for board meetings, casual receptions or banquet-style lunches for up to 70 people. The nonprofit’s large boardroom adjacent to reception incorporates high-quality materials including an iridescent wall covering with a glass bead pattern, wood tiled ceiling with a perforated surface for improved acoustics and executive seating. This space is highly configurable and can be arranged for two smaller conferences, a large U-shaped arrangement or an auditorium-style setup.
