DuPont Government Affairs came to OTJ looking to relocate to a new building in Washington, DC. For their new space, they desired a workplace that includes a mixture of offices and workstations, along with standard support areas, a pantry and conference rooms. Based on their initial programming needs, OTJ developed test fits to help DuPont choose the best location to fit their needs. Since this is DuPont’s sustainable office, the OTJ team incorporated natural finishes that reflect their environmentally conscious mission. Natural woods, topography wall installations and green carpets to mimic grass were some of the elements added to the design. Various seating arrangements were placed throughout the space to create unique places for employees to meet away from their desks.
