As part of the redevelopment of a high-visibility parcel in Washington’s Central Business District, clients Akridge, COPT, and the Argos Group, have commissioned our team to design and deliver a 190,000 square foot trophy office building sure to redefine a rapidly evolving neighborhood. The 110-foot tall modernist glass structure, complete with below-grade parking, will be anchored by a grand two-story lobby as well as 8,000 square feet of prime retail space.
Complete with floor-to-ceiling glass and floor plates designed for maximum efficiency, the property will feature a superlative array of amenities such as a spa-quality fitness facility, landscaped rooftop terrace, tenant lounge, and penthouse conference center with panoramic views of the city’s skyline. Designed for LEED Gold Certification, 2100 L Street will derive 35% of its energy from renewable sources. In addition, the project will undergo reviews from the HPRB, the Advisory Neighborhood Commission, the DC Preservation League, the Historic Preservation Office, and the DC Office of Planning to ensure that it remains sensitive to its architectural context and is cohesive with the adjacent historic Stevens School.
