Department
of Justice
The
critical factor in this project was timing. Since the space was currently
occupied,
it was important to work with the current tenants to establish the program
for multiple floors. We could then develop a phasing plan to accommodate
the exit of the existing tenant in the space and the phasing of the Department
of Justice into it. Once that was established, we were able to prioritize
the construction documents and immediately move forward on the documents
for areas that needed to be permitted and constructed first. It was this
type of thinking and teamwork between the owner, general contractor and
architect that make this project a success for the Department of Justice.
