2030 M Street, NW
Exterior Additions

The 2030 M STREET building in NW Washington, DC is home to the American Legacy Foundation, and a number of other tenants as well. Our approach to the rethinking of the street-level exterior involved coming up with different lighting and signage components to enhance the pedestrian’s experience on the streetscape. Maintaining the integrity of the facade, while giving it a fresh look were some of the goals of this project. The plaque below dedicates this 2030 M Street block to the American Legacy Foundation, and relates to the Truth ads illuminated in the lightbox beyond. Signage consultants helped bring these design pieces to light, adding a professional touch to these important features of the 2030 M Street facade. Other tenants include the Subway sandwich chain, which had embraced the project from the start, and eventually reported that sales in their establishment had gone up since these additions were made.
