US Travel Association desired to renovate their space focusing on efficiency and connection between staff and visitors while also showcasing their mission. OTJ’s design for this project focused on branding and optimal space utilization and adjacencies between the reception area, conference rooms, offices and open office areas. The design intent included a warm, inviting space and wood panel features are incorporated throughout the space from the elevator lobby to the reception area to the conference rooms and corridors to provide a cohesive design. The offices have glass fronts and workstations in the open floor plan have added height with glass at the top to not block natural light but to provide a sense of greater privacy with the illusion of added height. To highlight their membership, OTJ incorporated member plaques along the corridor adjacent to the conferencing center.
